The Bagini Glacier Trek is a mesmerizing journey into the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas, offering close-up views of colossal peaks like Changabang, Dunagiri, and Kalanka. Starting from the quaint villages of the Niti Valley, the trail winds through alpine meadows, crystal-clear streams, and rocky moraines to reach the Bagini Glacier at 4,515 m. This trek is a perfect blend of high-altitude adventure and cultural immersion in the remote villages of Ruing and Dronagiri.

Arrival at Joshimath
Drive to Joshimath from Haridwar/Dehradun. Acclimatization and briefing.
Joshimath to Jumma (Drive) & Trek to Ruing
Drive to Jumma and begin the trek to Ruing village. A short but steep climb through the forest.
Ruing to Dronagiri Village
Trek through mixed forests to the historic village of Dronagiri. The village is only inhabited in summer.
Dronagiri to Bagini Base Camp
Trek to the base camp at Longatulli. The trail offers impressive views of the Rishi Peak and Bagini Nala.
Base Camp to Bagini Glacier & Changabang Base Camp
Trek to Bagini Glacier and further to Changabang Base Camp. Enjoy glorious views of Changabang, Kalanka and Dunagiri. Return to Base Camp.
Bagini Base Camp to Ruing Village
Retrace your steps back to Ruing, enjoying the downhill trek.
Ruing to Jumma & Drive to Joshimath
Short trek down to Jumma and drive back to Joshimath. Celebration dinner.
Joshimath to Dehradun
Drive back to Dehradun/Haridwar.
